Host Color has rich experience in providing e-solutions uniquly suited for the customers' needs. Since 2000, they have been actively participating in the development of the hosting industry. They inspire to keep the standards they have achieved and continue offering their customers high quality hosting services.

Host Color offers many plans ranging from $2+ to $7+ per month. We have studied each of their plans and take their most expensive plan (Mega Pack) as our review since this plan is the most value-for-money among the others.

At $7.08 per month, you'll get 2000MB storage space and 50GB bandwidth. Furthermore, they also offer great value by giving out 30 MySQL databases and unlimited subdomains. We've seen some hosts charging $2 per MySQL and $20 per year for unlimited subdomains so Host Color's Mega Pack plan is cheap in this sense. This plan also provides basic features like web logs and anti-spam filter.

However, even with the most expensive plan, we don't see some of the important features that are available in our other hosts.

They do not offer free marketing package for the promotion of your site. If you are a beginner in internet marketing, we will recommend PowWeb as you'll get $50 Yahoo Marketing credit and other web marketing resources to help you with your internet business. Also, the Mega Pack plan doesn't have website builder software and Shared SSL. Therefore, if you already have your own web design and if you do not need to accept secured data through your site, this plan might be for you.

Host Color has been working hard in improving their customer support and they've done a good job so far.

Their support staff is available 24 hours a day and they guarantee that your support issues will be addressed within 1 hour, either by phone or by their improved email ticketing system. We've tested their response time and the support ticket we submitted got resolved in just 30 minutes. Very impressive.

Their FAQ section is very well-organized. You can search for hosting related issues in about 8 categories. They also have a tutorial section. But it is not an interactive one so complicated tutorials are not available there.

They recently launched an in-house forum. If you need to meet fellow webmasters, it is a good place to hang around but don't expect to get fast response there as there are still very few registered members.

Host Color is not a very popular host because the promotion they implemented are not that successful. A host with 5 years of experience should have achieved much more than what they are currently having now. Also, their growth rate is low as compared to Hostgator and PowWeb.

However, we've seen Host Color made a lot of improvements on their hosting packages and marketing plan. And they are trying hard to convince webmasters of other hosting sites to include their host in their directory and eventually getting some prestigious awards. Over the past few months, they have been trying very hard to gain some market share and we can see that they are getting more and more visible throughout the internet.

Even though Host Color has been around for more than 5 years, it is still considered a new host to us as they are not hosting many accounts. The main reason that we rank them as one of our top 10 hosts is because they are very experienced in web hosting and have been trying a lot of new ways to get their host more visible on the internet.
