We have been monitoring BlueHost for more than 6 months and we have been seeing that they keep changing the plan features. Every time they changed their plan features, they gave us some surprises. For example, in their most recent change in late Nov 2005, they increase their diskspace from 4000MB to 30,000MB and bandwidth from 100GB to 750GB! The best thing about the increase is they still charge it at the same low price of $7.95 per month.

Majority of the small business/ecommerce website would not need such huge diskspace and bandwidth. That is why they added another powerful feature to make the increase justifiable: They allow you to add up to 6 websites in one account. So in average, each of your website can take up 6000MB diskspace and 125GB bandwidth. This amount would be more than enough for a medium to big businesses.

BlueHost is one of the top hosts out there who offer the most diskspace and bandwidth, but they do not give you too many MySQL accounts and subdomains. While some hosts like Hostgator and PowWeb offer unlimited MySQL accounts and subdomains, BlueHost only gives up to 50 MySQL databases and 20 subdomains. BlueHost created a centralized support section where you'll be able to find your answers by using their search box. If the answer you need cannot be found, you can then open a support ticket. They offer three section to file the support queries. To get quick response, it is advisable that you choose the most appropriate department to submit the support ticket. Normally, all queries take less than a day to get addressed.

This support section doesn't have FAQ section yet. Also, at the time this BlueHost review is written, their account login feature is not available yet. This shows that this support center is still under development.
